The IDF on Friday struck and eliminated the terrorists Hani Abd al-Hai Fakhri Mazloum, a Nukba company commander, and Hassan Zidan Hassan Deiri, a sniper in the military wing of the Hamas terrorist organization.
Hassan and Mazloum were also involved in the trafficking and supply of weapons to Hamas terrorists.
Recently, the terrorists continued to advance attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians and operated to rehabilitate the capabilities of the terrorist organization, in systematic violation of the ceasefire. The strikes were conducted in order to remove the threat they posed.
"Prior to the strikes, steps were taken to mitigate harm to civilians, including the use of precise munitions and aerial surveillance," the IDF said.
"IDF troops under the Southern Command remain deployed in the area in accordance with the ceasefire agreement and will continue to operate to remove any immediate threat."
