The IDF confirmed that it struck in the Al-Shati area on Thursday and eliminated the terrorist Ibrahim Nabil Ibrahim Bass, a commander in Hamas's military wing.
The terrorist infiltrated Israeli territory and participated in the October 7th Massacre.
In an additional strike in the Sabra area on Thursday, the IDF eliminated the terrorist Hamdi Ahmad Hamid Kahlil, an observation platoon commander in the Islamic Jihad terrorist organization.
According to the IDF, recently and throughout the war, the terrorists continued to launch attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians while also attempting to restore the capabilities of the terrorist organizations, in systematic violation of the ceasefire. The strikes were conducted to remove the threat they posed.
Before the strike, steps were taken to mitigate harm to civilians, including the use of precise munitions and aerial surveillance.
