Troops from the Paratroopers Brigade, under the command of the 143rd Gaza Division and the 99th Division, operated over the past three months in the Gaza Strip as part of a defensive mission to clear the Yellow Line area of terrorist infrastructure.
During their activity, the troops, together with Yahalom, dismantled and sealed underground tunnels totaling 13 kilometers in length, including part of the tunnel where LT Hadar Goldin was held.
The troops dismantled numerous terrorist infrastructure sites and located weapons used by the Hamas terrorist organization to carry out terror activity against Israeli civilians and IDF troops. The weapons located included RPG rockets, mortar shells, grenades, missile launchers, and ammunition.
In addition, troops established new routes and military posts as part of efforts to strengthen the defensive posture in the area.
