השריפה בקריית ארבעדוברות כבאות והצלה יו"ש

Emergency forces are continuing their efforts to bring under control a massive fire that broke out on Saturday night in the Kiryat Arba industrial zone, where a vehicle dismantling lot caught fire.

As of this hour, 17 firefighting and rescue crews-equipped with aerial platforms and dedicated water-supply vehicles-are operating at the scene alongside dozens of volunteers.

The complex operation is being conducted in close cooperation with the IDF, which has provided water tankers for the effort, and with the support of Israel Police forces, which have closed the roads leading to the scene.

In an effort to halt the spread of the flames, a heavy front-end loader was brought into the vehicle lot. The heavy equipment is being used to move and remove vehicles that have not yet been damaged by the fire, with the aim of creating a firebreak and preventing the blaze from spreading further.

Thick clouds of smoke continue to rise above the compound, while exceptionally intense heat radiation is being felt in the immediate vicinity.
