The IDF confirmed on Tuesday that it conducted a strike in the Khan Yunis area two days earlier and eliminated the terrorist Tareq Anwar Khamis Ra'i, a company commander in the supply unit of the Islamic Jihad terrorist organization.
During the October 7th Massacre, Khamis Ra'i infiltrated Kibbutz Be'eri and took part in the abduction of an Israeli civilian.
The IDF noted that the terrorist had recently advanced terror attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians and was eliminated to remove a threat.
The military stressed that before the strike, steps were taken to mitigate harm to civilians, including the use of precise munitions and aerial surveillance.
