A four-year-old boy was critically injured on Sunday afternoon after being struck by a car on Hanina Street in Beit Shemesh. Magen David Adom teams dispatched to the scene performed prolonged resuscitation efforts, but were ultimately forced to pronounce him dead.
MDA paramedics Evyatar Yamin and Roi Ben-Shoham and senior MDA EMT Yehoshua Gottlieb recounted: “We saw the boy lying in the middle of the road, unconscious, with no pulse and not breathing, with severe injuries to his body after being struck by a vehicle.
“We provided him with advanced medical treatment, including prolonged resuscitation efforts, but unfortunately, we had no choice but to pronounce him dead," they added.
