Judea and Samaria Border Police and IDF forces arrested three suspects on Monday night at separate locations in the Yehuda Brigade's area of operation. During the operation, the forces seized two rifles, magazines, and ammunition.
The forces operated in the villages of Yata, Khalet al-Maiyya, and Bayt Awa in the Hebron area, with guidance from the Jerusalem Envelope Border Police Investigations and Intelligence Branch. The operation's objective was to seize weapons and arrest suspects.
While searching a home in Yata, the forces found weapons hidden inside the wall of the structure. The forces broke some of the walls and revealed a carbine rifle, two magazines, and two bags of assorted ammunition. One suspect was arrested at the scene.
Operating in Khalet al-Maiyya, forces located an M-16 assault rifle and magazines full of ammunition. A suspect was arrested at the scene and taken for questioning.
At the same time, forces operating in Beyt Awa arrested another suspect. In total, forces arrested three suspects during the operation and seized a carbine rifle, an M-16, magazines, and ammunition.
All suspects and the weapons seized were transferred for further investigation and processing to the Judea and Samaria Border Police Headquarters.
