Former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett arrived at the IDF induction center today (Monday), where he met new recruits to the Golani Brigade and the Egoz Unit and wished them well before they boarded the buses.
Speaking to Arutz Sheva, Bennett addressed the emotions surrounding the younger generation’s enlistment in the IDF and noted that his own son is also enlisting.
“It is very moving that the younger generation is enlisting today in Golani and Egoz. I’m here every day as the younger generation enlists - including my son," Bennett said.
Bennett praised the young recruits and emphasized the responsibility Israel bears toward them.
“We have an incredible generation here, and we will fix Israel for this generation. These are literally our children."
Bennett then called for political disagreements to be set aside at the induction center.
“There is no politics, there is no right, there is no left. We are all together, enlisting in the IDF."
