The army began to fence in the Hamawasi areas in Gush Katif this morning. It is suspected that the murderer of Kfar Yam resident Roni Tzalach five weeks ago came from among, or was helped by, the residents of the Hamawasi. The industrial zone of N\'vei Dekalim was shot at intermittently all day yesterday.

An explosive blew up this morning at the Sufa Checkpoint in Gaza not far from an IDF patrol, and a roadside bomb exploded near Netzarim during the night; no one was hurt.
