The new PA government has found a unique and simple solution for the problem of the thousands of illegal weapons circulating among its residents that Abu Mazen had promised to confiscate: All the weapons-holding terrorists in Gaza will simply be "drafted" into the PA para-military police force, together with their weapons. Arutz-7's Haggai Huberman reports that Abu Shabak, head of PA Preventative Security in Gaza, told as much to the Islam Online internet site. Abu Shabak also promised, in the name of Muhammad Dahlan, to deal with the armed militias "generously and with common sense." He emphasized that no member of an armed militia or other opposition groups had yet been arrested.

Nitzana Darshan-Leitner talked on Arutz-7 today about the letter she wrote last week to the German and U.S. governments, in which she explained that Abu Mazen - as Fatah treasurer - provided the financial backing for the murder of 11 Israeli Olympic athletes in Munich in 1972. She said that she is sure that Israeli officials knew of this in 1993 when he signed the Oslo Accords back in 1993 - "and it is particularly noteworthy, because the U.S. has been saying since last year that they want to deal only with someone who does not have a terrorist history.
