In the northwestern corner of Israel, at the point where the Mediterranean Sea meets the cliffs, there you will find Mitzpe Rosh Hanikra. Rosh Hanikra is a translation of the Arabic name Ras-a-Nakura,meaning the head of the grotto.

The sea and the rain have created the grottos over the millennia. Underground shocks produced cracks in the rock, letting in rain and seawater, widening and expanding them into many wonderful shapes.
