Miller was shot dead when he walked out of an Arab house in the Rafiach war zone in southern Gaza. An IDF statement expressed sorrow over the death of a civilian, but added that Miller was aware of the dangers when he entered the combat zone. The body has been brought to the Abu Kabir Forensic Institute to determine if he was killed by IDF or PA gunfire.
