Little by little, the Kinneret Sea is filling up. Following the weekend\'s heavy rains, the level of the Sea of Galilee - the country\'s largest reservoir - stands at 213.32 meters below sea level, about a half-meter above its lowest level a few months ago. The government-authorized \"red line\" is 213 meters below sea level. When the level drops below that, some experts fear irreversible damage to water quality by plant-growth accumulation and sediments. The optimum level of the Kinneret is 209 meters below sea level.
