The IDF has confirmed that over the weekend (Friday), it eliminated the terrorist Louay Hisham Mahmoud Basal, who posed an immediate threat to IDF troops and was eliminated in a precise strike.
Basal served as a sniper in the Hamas Zeitoun Battalion of the Gaza City Brigade.
Prior to the strike, steps were taken to mitigate harm to civilians, including the use of precise munitions, and aerial surveillance.
Intelligence analysis indicates that the terrorist Louay Hisham Mahmoud Basal infiltrated the Zikim base during the brutal October 7th massacre and has recently been operating to execute attacks against IDF troops.
