Five IDF soldiers were wounded this morning, with two listed in "moderate" condition, in a battle with terrorists in a Shechem neighborhood. Two wanted terrorists gave themselves up at the end of the battle, while a third was killed. One of the three was responsible for the Kfar Sava murderous attack of four days ago.



Victim #761 of the Oslo War - Alexander Kostiok, 24, of Bat Yam - was buried this morning in the non-Jewish section of the Yarkon Cemetery. He was murdered on Thursday in the above-mentioned attack while preventing the suicide terrorist from entering the new Kfar Sava train station. His parents had originally planned to hold his funeral in his hometown in the Ukraine, but changed their minds in light of the warmth they were shown by Israeli officials since the murder.



Hizbullah terrorists fired three anti-aircraft shells over Kiryat Shmonah this morning. Shrapnel fell in the city, and one resident was lightly wounded. The IDF did not respond to the three attacks. In a related item, it was learned today that four Druze residents of a Golan village conspired with Hizbullah to abduct an IDF soldier. The four were indicted in a Nazareth court this morning.
