A missile fired from Iran toward the Gush Dan area this morning (Wednesday) hit several locations in Bnei Brak and Ramat Gan.
Sheba Medical Center in Tel Hashomer reported that medical teams are fighting for the life of an 11-year-old girl who was critically injured by the Iranian missile strike. It was also reported that her father is in moderate condition, and six additional children have been admitted to the emergency room.
Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva reported that, following the barrage, a 12-year-old boy who was seriously injured and his mother, who was moderately injured, were evacuated. The boy will be transferred for further treatment to the nearby Schneider Hospital. Eleven other casualties with minor injuries were treated and taken to Sheba and Beilinson hospitals. The city also experienced a building hit that caused a gas leak, which was handled by the fire department.
MDA paramedic Yissachar Weiss said: "We received a report of a missile impact and arrived on the scene with ambulances, mobile intensive care units, and rapid response motorcycles. We saw destruction and people walking around conscious, and an 11-year-old girl semi-conscious with shrapnel injuries to her limbs. We provided medical treatment and evacuated her by MDA mobile intensive care unit to the hospital in serious condition. Additional MDA teams treated several other injured people and also evacuated them to hospitals."
Senior medic Lipa Hirsch added: "During our searches we saw a 13-year-old boy conscious after being injured by the blast. We placed him in an MDA ambulance and evacuated him to the hospital in moderate condition. Additional MDA teams are scanning to ensure there are no more casualties."
In Holon, a fire broke out in an open area as a result of the impact, and in Petah Tikva, missile interception debris fell in open areas.
Police reported that interception debris was found in several cities in the Sharon area. Sirens were activated across central Israel, Sharon, Samaria, and the south following the missile launch.

Earlier, alerts were activated in the Negev region following a missile launch by the Houthis in Yemen. The missile was intercepted, and no casualties were reported.
Earlier still, sirens were sounded in the Upper Galilee area following the infiltration of a drone from Lebanon. Security officials said the drone was not intercepted and apparently fell in an open area without causing any injuries.
