Binyamin Regional Council Chairman Pinchas Wallerstein told Arutz-7 today that Prime Minister Sharon's expressed willingness to give up parts of the Land of Israel is not only a tactical error from a negotiating standpoint, but is also an educational mistake.
"His statements destroy the national educational basis of the Jewish People's return to the Land," he said. "When the Prime Minister, the popularly-elected leader, expresses the point of view that in exchange for an 'arrangement' he is willing to cede parts of our homeland, he educates the nation to abandonment of the Land."
Wallerstein also noted that the demand that Israel give a "prize" to terrorism in the form of the Road Map plan "contradicts the American policy that negates rewarding terrorism, and stands for destroying countries that support terrorism."
