The traditional White House Hanukkah party was held last night in the presence of US President Donald Trump, with dozens of guests attending, including Holocaust survivors, leaders from the Jewish community, and political allies of Trump.
A standout musical moment took place at the event when Hasidic singer Shalom Lemmer took the stage and performed the well-known patriotic American song “God Bless America” - translated into Yiddish.
