Officers from the Northern District Police were filmed conducting an operation to arrest a resident of Uzeir who was armed with a handgun near the residential area of the village, in an incident tied to a feud between criminal elements.
The officers, who recognized the danger in being exposed, decided to employ a sophisticated tactic. They boarded a civilian van and drove it to the location while being followed by a drone that broadcast a live image and showed the location of the suspect.
Upon the officers' arrival, the suspect was seen tossing the weapon away and attempting to flee, but was immediately arrested. He was indicted this week.
