In an article I wrote in 2020, I described how Nazi academic Prof Walter Grundmann was tasked to confirm that Jesus was not a Jew. After all, how could Germans demonise and persecute Jews, yet pray to him at the same time?

Eighty years later, dejudaizing Jesus has now transformed him from being an Aryan into attempts to recreate him as a “Palestinian.” As Christmas approaches, social media activists will get into the festive spirit by comparing the infant Jesus to the children of Gaza. The “Palestinian Arab” baby will be depicted as homeless, hungry and accommodated in a stable.

The world already saw the late Pope Francis promote the new version at a Vatican nativity display, posing with baby Jesus wrapped in a trade mark “Palestinian” keffiyeh.

Never mind that the keffiyeh originates from Kufa in Mesopotamia (now Iraq.)

Never mind that the keffiyeh first became a means to conceal faces during the 1930’s Arab revolt against the British. Later in the 1960’s, Yasser Arafat would wear it as a symbol of his al Fatah terror movement.

Never mind that the Romans established Syria Palaestina in the year 135 C.E. as a new, name for Judaea, meant to erase its connection to the Jews and use a name referring to the ancient, long-extinct Philistine invaders.

Never mind that Jesus died in the year 33 C.E..That is over a century before “Palestine” replaced the name Judaea/Samaria. The only name Jesus knew for the area is Judaea/Samaria.

Going further with the farce, the PA always refers to Jesus as a “Palestinian” and the Church shamelessly goes along with that nonsense.

This year Jesus is not only a “Palestinian” but is lumped together with the other Palestinian Arabs of today- Jesus who was born in a stable is now presented as a metaphor for the children of Gaza who suffer “homelessness and hunger.”

But the plot thickens!

In the Christian Bible, the Gospel of John (10:22-23) describes Jesus going to Jerusalem to celebrate the Feast of the Dedication (of the Second Temple), also known as Hanukkah. Why would the “Palestinian” Jesus go to the Temple and celebrate a Jewish holiday? Indeed, the now rebranded “Palestinian” celebrated all Jewish holidays and traditions! Do Christians know this?

Promoting the “Palestinian” Jesus therefore poses a major challenge for PA Chairman Abu Maazen. It was just as difficult for the Nazi Prof Grundmann who fraudulently dejudaized Jesus so Germans could enjoy a hassle free, Jew free Christmas without too many awkward questions.

How will Abu Maazen explain the famous” Palestinian” celebrating the joyful Jewish national holiday of Hanukkah?

Will the EU and the Church continue with the charade?

Will the EU distribute culture-friendly dreidels for Palestinian Arab children?

Will UNRWA hand out truckloads of Aruk and Shami (Iraqi potato pancakes resembling latkes?)

Will Santa Claus go through Bethlehem in a motorised sleigh and hand out candy to the kids as part of an EU funded “Pay for Sleigh” holiday festivity?

Will the Christian world led by Evangelicals finally decide that enough is enough of the disrespect and misappropriation of their faith by the PA and the corruption of the Christian narrative that has been allowed to continue with hardly a murmur?

Will Jews chuckle at this annual silliness and enjoy their sufganiyot while remembering the miracle of the rededication of the Temple in Zion?

Will genuine Christians reclaim their faith and enjoy the true spirit of their Christmas holiday?

Whatever, to all readers, seasons greetings!
