A light aircraft made an emergency landing on a highway in Florida late last night (Wednesday, Israel time).
The aircraft, a Beechcraft 55, performed an emergency landing on I-95 near the city of Cocoa after experiencing an engine failure.
During the landing, the plane collided with a Toyota Camry. The car's driver, a 57-year-old woman, was lightly injured and was transported for medical treatment. The two passengers of the plane, including the pilot, were unharmed.
The Federal Aviation Administration has opened an investigation to determine the circumstances of the incident. The highway was temporarily closed to traffic, and emergency and police forces worked to clear the plane and the accident scene.
