Ofira Asayag hosted the Democrats Party Chairman, Yair Golan, on Channel 12 on Friday evening for an interview, during which the left-wing politician donned a kippah and recited the Shabbat Kiddush by heart.
"Unity must be centered around values; it's not an empty word," Golan emphasized, noting that he recites the prayer on the wine every Friday night.
He added, "Unity is not just Kiddush." Asked, "When will it be good here?" Golan answered: "When we connect to the founding Zionist principles."
