A mob of about 200 people participated in an antisemitic hate march outside Manhattan's historic Park East Synagogue last night (Wednesday), the New York Post reported.

The demonstration was held in protest against a Nefesh B'Nefesh event at the synagogue on how to make Aliyah, the term for returning to the Jewish homeland of Israel.

Protesters shouted calls for violence, including “From New York to Gaza, globalize the Intifada," a call for the murder of Jews around the world and in New York in particular.

They also chanted, “Resistance you make us proud, take another settler out."

Park East Synagogue Cantor Benny Rogosnitzky told the Post that demonstrators shouted explicit calls for violence against Jews, including "Kill the Jews," as well as "Destroy Israel" and "No Jews in America."

One protester shouted repeatedly that "we need to make them scared" to hold such events at the synagogue.

One counter-protester called the demonstrators “cowards” for “protesting at a synagogue.”

The protest was organized by the anti-Israel group Pal-Awda.

The senior Rabbi at the Park East Synagogue is Rabbi Arthur Schneier, who is a Holocaust survivor.
