Adel, a four-year-old girl, was diagnosed with angiosarcoma and has begun chemotherapy, her parents say. The diagnosis is aggressive, and the family says she needs a specialized treatment protocol available in the United States.
Her parents, Hadassa and Shlomo Tehuda, searched internationally for an effective therapy and located a hospital in the USA that has developed an innovative protocol they believe can treat Adel’s sarcoma. The family says the protocol is not yet covered by any insurance and will require them to live in the United States for a period and to fly with their very sick child.
The Tehudas say they are determined to pursue the treatment despite the costs. They are seeking financial assistance to cover the treatment, travel, and living expenses while Adel receives care.
The family has set up an online fundraising page to collect donations for Adel’s care. The page describes the proposed treatment as cutting-edge and notes the significant expense involved.
A fundraising page is available at The Chesed Fund, where donors can contribute to support Adel’s treatment, travel, and temporary relocation. Donate now.
Hadassa and Shlomo Tehuda say they will not give up and are pursuing the treatment option they hope will save their daughter’s life.
