Overnight (Wednesday), guided by ISA intelligence, and as part of a wide counterterrorism operation, IDF soldiers operated in several areas to locate weapons and apprehend terrorists. During the operation, IDF soldiers searched more than 70 sites and located numerous weapons inside the terrorists’ residences. Among the located weapons was a ‘Carlo’ style weapon hidden in a microwave, and a hunting rifle hidden behind a curtain.

Simultaneously, IDF soldiers began a counterterrorism operation in the Beit Ummar area, from which one of the terrorists who carried out the terror attack at the Gush Etzion Junction earlier this week had departed.

During the operation, the soldiers operated in more than 300 sites and apprehended three terrorists who had advanced terror attacks against the State of Israel, including a terrorist who hurled Molotov Cocktails at Israeli civilians. The soldiers questioned over 200 suspects and confiscated dozens of vehicles that were financed by terror funds.

Overnight, IDF soldiers, guided by intelligence information, apprehended a wanted individual in Hebron who praised the terror attack in Gush Etzion and incited the execution of additional terror attacks. Additionally, the suspect’s father, who also supported the terror attack and incited terrorism, was apprehended on the day of the attack.

Additionally, during the soldiers' operations in Hebron, three wanted individuals were apprehended, and two explosives, magazines, and additional weapons were located and confiscated. The soldiers also operated in Tulkarm to apprehend a suspect.

In an operation in Qabatiya, guided by ISA intelligence, soldiers of the undercover counterterrorism unit of the Israel Border Police apprehended three terrorists who planned to conduct terror attacks against IDF soldiers operating in the area. In another operation in the area, IDF and Israel Border Police forces apprehended three additional terrorists, including a terrorist who took part in the production of explosives. In the area of Barta'a, the soldiers operated to locate weapons and question suspects.

In the Benyamin Regional Brigade, two wanted individuals were apprehended. An additional two suspects were apprehended by the soldiers, and dozens of additional suspects were questioned.

The wanted suspects and the confiscated weapons were transferred to the Israel Police’s Samaria and Judea District and the ISA for further processing.
