The IDF launched a wave of strikes on Wednesday afternoon against Hezbollah military infrastructure sites in southern Lebanon.

Shortly before the strikes ensued, IDF Arabic-Language Spokesman Avichay Adraee issued an urgent warning to residents of southern Lebanon.

According to the statement, the strikes are "to address the prohibited attempts by Hezbollah to rebuild its activities in the area." The public was ordered to evacuate the areas near buildings shown on the attached maps immediately.

The warning specifically addressed residents of the village of Deir Kifa.

Following the first wave of strikes, Adraee issued a second warning, specifically for residents of Tair Filsi and Ainata. "You are located near buildings used by Hezbollah, and for your safety, you are required to evacuate them immediately and stay away from them for a distance of at least 300 meters," the warning stated.

Earlier in the day, the IDF struck and eliminated a Hezbollah terrorist in the area of At Tiri in southern Lebanon.

The terrorist took part in the efforts to reestablish Hezbollah’s readiness in the area. The IDF stressed that his actions constituted a violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon.
