Bat Sheva Sadan, daughter of Rabbi Eli and Dina Horowitz who were murdered in their home in Kiryat Arba, shared a moving post reflecting on the building where her parents lived - eight of whose residents have been murdered in terror attacks. The latest was Aharon Cohen, murdered in Tuesday’s attack at the Gush Etzion Junction.
“Building 35 in Kiryat Arba is a modest building, surrounded by green grass. Simple people live there - apparently also righteous ones,” Sadan began.
She continued, “In this building lived Yehoshua Saloma, an immigrant from Denmark who studied at the Nir Yeshiva and was murdered by terrorists in Hebron in 1980. In this building lived Effie and Yaron Ungar, a sweet young couple murdered by terrorists in 1996 on their way home from a wedding, leaving behind two orphaned toddlers. In this building lived Rabbi Eli and Dina Horowitz, who were murdered when terrorists broke into their home on a Friday night in 2003. In this building lived Yaakov and Netanel Litman, father and son, murdered by terrorists in 2015 on their way to a pre-wedding Shabbat celebration.”
“And in this building lived Aharon Cohen, who today, on his way home, was murdered by cruel terrorists,” she concluded.
