A global outage was recorded this morning (Tuesday) in Cloudflare's services - one of the main providers of internet infrastructure - causing many websites worldwide to go offline.
The outage, which was also detected in Israel, occurred around 13:40 (UTC) and led to many sites displaying an internal server error (500), including news sites and major Israeli websites (including Arutz Sheva - Israel National News), even though the origin servers themselves were operating normally. Users encountered a message indicating an internal network error at Cloudflare.
The company said, "Cloudflare is aware of the outage and is now investigating its causes. We will update with additional details as they become available." It was also reported that the outage could affect a large number of customers worldwide.
At the same time, Cloudflare's support platform also experienced access problems, likely due to the unusually high load.
