A heated confrontation erupted in the Knesset plenum after Deputy Knesset Speaker MK Yakov Margi ordered MK Samir Bin Said (Ta’al party) to step down from the podium following his remarks praising Zohran Mamdani, the newly elected anti-Israel mayor of New York City.
“Get off the podium, you insolent man,” Margi shouted. “A member of the Israeli Knesset stands here and congratulates an antisemitic terror supporter who can’t even bring himself to condemn the massacre and the murder of infants.”
