Troops from the 98th Division are expanding the operation in Gaza City.
The IDF described the combat in the arena as characterized by a dense and complex environment, combining operational maneuvering with precise intelligence and aerial support.
During one of the activities, troops identified a terrorist armed with an RPG, who was subsequently eliminated.
"IDF troops under the Southern Command will continue to operate in the Gaza Strip to protect Israeli civilians," the IDF stated.
