Today, Megyn Kelly enjoys a new life through her podcasts, in which she lets it rip if the topic is in her zone of interest.

She’s a classy lady, but get her fired up, and she won’t hesitate to use the language of the street, or the poolroom…and then apologize to her mother.

Duck…run for cover, if you get on her wrong side. When she speaks from her desk at YouTube, we listen and say, You Go Girl.

I’m coming out to say that she is tops, among the best there is in the world of US journalism. I catch her on YouTube and am always fascinated by her commentary.

Fortunately, we agree on practically everything. Naturally, this includes Israel. She is a true friend of the Jewish State…but then, something happened.

Have we lost her? This must not be. Her voice carries far and wide. She is our champion.

I knew this would go wrong the minute this name came up…Candace Owens. For me, I need know no more.

The rest will be something, anything, against the Jews. Just a hint here and there against Israel and suddenly we are swimming in muddy waters.

So now, it is suggested, Israel had a hand in the murder of Charlie Kirk. Why Israel? Why not? It is the way of the world.

“The Protocols of the Elders of Zion” …a falsehood from first word to last…is where some people find refuge.

Suddenly, these names also popped up, Max Blumenthal and John Mearsheimer…also no friends of Israel…and quick to slander the Jewish State.

Sometimes a name tells the whole story. Tucker Carlson. Father Coughlin.

The slander goes on to allege that Israel turned on Charlie Kirk because he was turning against the Jewish State.

There is no evidence of this, but this is how the slanderers do their mischief. Now that Charlie Kirk is gone, they can make up whatever story they want.

I am a novelist, so I know what it is to write fiction, and this is fiction about Charlie Kirk going soft on Israel. It never happened.

Then to blame Israel for his death, and on top of that to blame Jews for being upset over the insinuation, is a blood libel once and twice.

I can’t blame Megyn Kelly for being receptive. She is always open to pros and cons, but must ask her to consider the source.

Megyn Kelly knows something about false accusation.

For some time she was prime on Fox News, opining on every topic under the sun, and usually from a rightwing point of view.

Soon enough, it became apparent, she was becoming a star, and getting too big for Fox News, which though gaining in popularity, reached only a cable audience.

Whereas Fox News reached about two million viewers on average, a network like NBC reached 10 million…and NBC was where Megyn Kelly ended up.

But not for long.

The discussion focused on black face, and how terrible it is when white people resort to something so insulting to black people.

Megyn Kelly agreed, but added that in bygone years some people went ahead with it anyway.

No way was she supporting black face. She was only stating a fact…and for that, she was branded a racist, and booted off the network.

Which, thanks to the arrival of podcasts, turned out to be a blessing. There she shines.

But until that came along, she suffered years of false accusations and exile. She was a pariah and box office poison.

Therefore, she should know how it feels to be Jewish…when people like Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson sound like Father Coughlin.

Father Coughlin was a terrifying anti-Jewish demagogue who reached millions by way of his radio rants in the 1930s.

Name it, and the Jews done it…and today it would be Charlie Kirk…just as today it is Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson.

Is this the company to keep?

Megyn Kelly is better than this.

Her latest podcasts indicate that she is back to being our champion. I hope I read her right.
