Ahead of Rosh Hashanah, the Chief of Staff, Maj. Gen. Eyal Zamir, met with members of the reserve team in the Yiftah Brigade (11) who reported for the third time and are currently fighting in Gaza.
Zamir told the soldiers: "In this war we have lost many soldiers, there is great pain - but from this pain grows great strength, the strength of the people of Israel comes from you - this is our turn, this is our generation, there is no one else who will do these things."
