The IDF began yet another counter-terrorism offensive last night, this time in some Arab neighborhoods near Tul Karem, some 15 kilometers east of Netanya. Infantry troops, accompanied by tanks and with helicopter cover overhead, combed the area and made arrests.



Arutz-7's Kobi Finkler reports that the go-signal for this operation was given in the wake of two developments: the discovery this week of an explosives lab in the Israeli-Arab town of Jaljulya, and the suicide bombing in Netanya on Sunday that seriously wounded six people. Both were conducted by terrorists from Tul Karem. Throughout Yesha, 11 wanted terrorists or their accomplices were arrested.



Palestinian terrorists attempted to murder the passengers of an Israeli car in the western Shomron last night, between Einav and Avnei Cheifetz. Kol Rina News Agency reports that the Israelis miraculously emerged unhurt.



Arabs attacked two targets in Gush Katif on Israel's southern Mediterranean coast last night. Soldiers at both sites - outposts near N'vei Dekalim and Rafiach - returned fire. No one was hurt.
