Hizbullah terrorists fired at least two anti-aircraft shells at Israel Air Force planes this morning. The planes were flying along the Israeli-Lebanese border and did not enter Lebanon. Shrapnel fell into Israeli communities, but no damage was reported. This was the first overt hostile act by Hizbullah since the beginning of the war in Iraq.
Also in the north this morning, dozens of residents of northern Galilee communities demonstrated against the Netanyahu emergency budget-slashing plan. They blocked a major artery in the area until police forces from Tzfat cleared them out.
