Sources associated with Hamas report that the terrorist Ghassan Salot, a Hamas operative who in February forced captivity survivor Omer Shem Tov to kiss his forehead during his release ceremony, was eliminated in Dir al-Balah on Tuesday.
A few months ago, Shem Tov recounted the harsh conditions in captivity.
In the haunting interview, he revealed how the terrorists ordered him to attack IDF soldiers, and he refused. "They told me: 'When the soldiers enter the house, you denotate.' I told them no. They threatened to shoot me in the head - I said, 'So shoot,'" he recounted.
