The Kinneret rose another two centimeters yesterday, and stands now at 211.27 meters below sea level. Despite little rain over the past week, it has risen 17 centimeters over that period. Just over two and a third meters (7 feet, 9 inches) are required for the country's largest reservoir - and the benchmark for its water supply - to reach its optimum level. Heavy rains are expected beginning tomorrow afternoon.
