A hearing held in the Beit El Military Court this week has shed some light on how Palestinian terrorists use ambulances to further their murderous cause. The hearing concerned Aslam Jabril, a 'Red Crescent' ambulance driver who is charged with using ambulances to transport weapons to terrorists of the Al Aksa Martyrs' Brigades in Shechem and Ramallah. The accused pleaded guilty to having transported, in his ambulance, guns and explosive belts for use in planned terror attacks. On at least one occasion, Jabril transported a doctor and his brother's wife and children in order hide the contents of the ambulance - but he was detected and stopped by IDF forces outside Ramallah nonetheless.
