The Labor Party will convene this evening with two issues on the agenda. One is the party's dismal failure in the elections, in which it lost 7 of its 26 Knesset seats. The second topic is a diplomatic plan proposed by former party chairman Binyamin Ben-Eliezer - one that is less dovish than that propagated by current party leader Amram Mitzna. Ben-Eliezer aides say that if the party accepts the plan, it will be another step on the way to Ben-Eliezer's return to the party leadership.
