Soldiers from the Kfir Brigade, together with the security forces, have been operating over the past two days in Jenin as part of the ongoing counterterrorism effort in the area.
The troops are operating as part of Operation Wall of Iron which began last Tuesday, during which over 15 terrorists have been eliminated and dozens have been arrested.
Over the past few days, the troops eliminated terrorists, and located and destroyed an explosives lab and a lathe for manufacturing weapons.
Earlier in the day, an IAF aircraft struck a gathering of armed terrorists in the Balata "Refugee" Camp in Samaria.
