IDF forces uncovered another arms smuggling tunnel on the Israeli-Egyptian border yesterday, and destroyed it. Six large explosive devices were uncovered west of Jenin last night, and were similarly destroyed.

The homes of the two terrorists who murdered Rabbi Eli and Dina Horowitz on Friday night were destroyed - one of them yesterday and one of them this morning. The IDF says that this measure is just one aspect of its continuing war against Palestinian terrorism, showing the terrorists and their families that their actions will cost them their homes.

Some IDF forces withdrew from northern Gaza this morning, while others remained there. The forces entered the area several days ago in an effort to stop the Arabs from firing Kassam rockets. They were not entirely successful in the short-term, in that three Kassams were fired at Sderot only hours after the forces entered, and another four landed in the city yesterday. No one was hurt in these attacks. The IDF hopes that its actions against terror infrastructures in Gaza will have a long-term impact on the Kassam launchers.
