A new scholarship fund has been established at the College of Judea & Samaria to honor the memory of two CJS students and one alumni killed inArab terror attacks last year - Baruch Lerner, Arik Becker and Avi Walenski.
On Wednesday, a ceremony was held at the college, in Ariel, to mark the formal inauguration of the scholarship. Approximately 200 people attended the event, including CJS President Professor Dan Meyerstein, Ron Nachman, Mayor of Ariel, Esti Bar-Chen, Dean of Student Affairs, a representative from the IDF Central Command, and relatives and friends of the three students. During the ceremony, student and family representatives spoke emotionally about Baruch, Arik and Avi. More than 80 students from various departments were presented with scholarships the same day.
