Some 1,500 people took part in a Rosh Chodesh (beginning of the Hebrew month) march around the Temple Mount gates last night. Buses came from all over the country, including two from the north. This was the largest such march since it became a monthly event last year. The participants called upon Prime Minister Sharon to open the holy site to Jews. The Temple Mount has been closed to Jews since the PA Arabs began the Oslo War in September 2000. Jerusalem Police Chief Mickey Levy said on Friday that the site should be opened to Jews after the war in Iraq.
