An IDF reservist who is a community security team member was severely wounded on Wednesday afternoon in an anti-tank missile strike on Kibbutz Dan in northern Israel. A siren was not sounded before the strike.

He was treated at the scene and taken by helicopter to Rambam Medical Center in Haifa.

The hospital stated: "A short time ago, a 39-year-old man suffering from chest trauma was taken to the trauma ward by helicopter from Kibbutz Dan. He is conscious and is currently undergoing examinations after which his continued treatment will be decided."

It later added that he was taken for surgery and his condition is classified as serious.

The IDF responded with artillery fire.

Following the sirens that sounded in the area of Abirim, approximately 30 projectiles were identified crossing from Lebanese territory into Israel and fell in an open area. No injuries were reported.

In addition, following the sirens that sounded in the area of Kfar Szold, approximately 30 projectiles were identified crossing from Lebanon into Israeli territory and fell in an open area. No injuries were reported.

On Tuesday, Hezbollah launched a heavy volley at northern Israel. According to the IDF, at least 45 launches were identified crossing from Lebanon.
