A large group of 120 members of all Jewish communities of Houston, Texas arrived in Israel yesterday for a ten-day stay. The group has two tracks, one for first-time visitors to Israel and another for returnees. They will not only tour, but will perform community service tasks, participate in study sessions, receive briefings from political and military leaders, and plant trees in memory of Ilan Ramon - who lived in the Houston area while training at NASA. In addition, they will host Houston students who are studying in Israel and will hold a reunion with Houstonians who have made Aliyah.
