At least one IDF soldier was wounded this morning during the continuing counter-terrorism action in Beit Hanoun, Gaza. The soldiers made house-to-house searches for wanted terrorists and weapons, and arrested two Arabs wanted for questioning. The soldiers were attacked with gunfire and shrapnel grenades, and returned fire. The purpose of the offensive: to stop the firing of Kassam rockets at Sderot and other Jewish communities on both sides of the Gaza fence.
