The IDF Spokesperson's Unit cleared for publication on Wednesday morning that a munitions explosion occurred at the Tze'elim base in southern Israel on Tuesday.
As a result of the explosion, two IDF soldiers were seriously injured, two soldiers were moderately injured and five other soldiers were lightly injured.
The soldiers were evacuated for medical treatment at a hospital, their families were informed.
The incident is being investigated, the IDF said.
