The Six Hamas terrorists who were killed in an explosion in Gaza yesterday were involved in building a pilotless aircraft. Reports from Gaza state that the terrorists were planning to use the drone to carry out a remote-controlled terrorist attack against an Israeli target. Among the dead was Nidal Farkhat, a senior Hamas member whose brother was responsible for the attack against the IDF preparatory yeshiva in Atzmona on March 7, 2002. Five students were murdered and over 20 wounded in that attack.
