A few days ago, Jew-hating, pro-Hamas mobs were effectively in control of the University of California at Los Angelas. They barred Jewish students from reaching classes. They even beat a female Jewish student unconscious.

Apparently, the Los Angelas police were taking an extended break at a local Dunkin Donuts the whole while. Thus, they did nothing to stop the protesters.

Finally, counter protestors, presumably Jews, stormed the antisemites’ “encampment.” They allegedly physically attacked the Jew-bashers.

By sheer coincidence, this response on behalf of UCLA’s Jews happened to occur exactly at the moment that the cops’ five-day donut break ended. Now the police stormed in to quash the violence from “both sides.”

Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, who was reportedly enjoying a siesta when the Jewish student was beaten, woke up just in time to vow to prosecute the pro-Israel “vigilantes” who attacked the illegal “Palestine Solidarity Encampment.”

No doubt, the full might of the L.A. district attorney’s office will be brought to bear on the “Zionists.” After all, the D.A.’s office has plenty of time on its hands. What with its policy of not prosecuting violent crimes committed by non-Jews (other than Trump supporters).

I know what you’re thinking: Oy vey! What a balagan (mess)! Who will stand up for us?

Don’t’ worry. Ever vigilant, a major Jewish organization and a prominent Jewish UCLA academic promptly issued missives of condemnation.

Condemnation of the pro-Jewish counter protestors, that is. **

“We are appalled at the violence,” a spokesman for the L.A. Jewish Federation stated. The spokesman decried the counter protestors’ acts as “abhorrent.”

A Jewish UCLA professor, and chairman of the Jewish studies department, tweeted that he was “heartbroken.” The prof condemned the offending Jews for having “laid siege” to the "pro-Palestinian" protest encampment and for having “violently attacked it.” He decried the counter demonstrators as outside instigators.

Even more heartrending was the reaction of some self-described Jewish UCLA students. One, named Stella, complained that the counter protestors gave “our community a really bad look.” And another proud, fearless Jewish student, who requested anonymity, noted that if “this was the stock market we’d be a penny stock …It’s over. Anyone pro-Israel looks like a barbarian right now.”

Those last comments by the students are particularly puzzling. First, I’ve never known anyone or anything named “Stella” who wasn’t an Italian Catholic. Or maybe a cookie.

Second, penny stocks can be profitable, if you know what you’re doing.

Most important, I could almost swear that, even before the counter-protests arose, the pro-Hamas protestors were accusing Jews of a lot worse things than just being “barbarians.” Like being perpetrators and supporters of “genocide,” “a holocaust” and “apartheid.” Now, those kinds of words don’t exactly make us look like Marilyn Monroe.

But I am getting old. Maybe I’m becoming senile and losing my memory too. Perhaps the protestors only started calling us those things when the evil counter protestors fought back. Before then, the “Youth for Hamas” and their ANTIFA facilitators must have all been handing out sheet music for “Hatikvah.”

Anyhow, word has it that that the L.A. Jewish Federation, the professor and Stella will be offering a seminar to Jewish students next week, to help the students cope with their stress.

The tentative title of the seminar is, “If things get really bad, here’s how to march into the gas chambers looking beautiful (and without offending anyone either).”

**Ed note: Rumors claim the girl beaten unconscious was an Iranian Jewess who came to the USA expecting to find freedom, and rumor has it that the counter protestors came from the same country. They may feel like they lost Iran by staying silent in 1979, so perhaps they wanted to show that they didn’t come to America to see a quasi repeat of the Islamic takeover.
