Dear Friend,
I'm reaching out to you with a heavy heart and a sense of deep humility. Circumstances have forced me to seek your assistance, despite my reluctance to do so.
Just three years ago, my husband was the rock of our family, providing for us with dignity and stability. However, our lives were shattered when he suffered a debilitating stroke, leaving him in a coma and reliant on life support in the hospital.
As I shuttle between the hospital and home, trying to balance caring for my husband with providing for our six children, the financial burden has become overwhelming. Despite my best efforts, I find myself drowning in debt, struggling to make ends meet and ensure that my family has enough to eat.
I'm fighting to stay strong for my children, knowing that they rely on me now more than ever. But as Passover approaches, I'm filled with dread, knowing that I may not be able to provide for them without your help.
Please, I implore you, don't let my family collapse under the weight of this crisis. Your generosity and compassion can make all the difference in ensuring that we have a roof over our heads and food on our table.
Thank you for considering my plea, and may you and your loved ones be blessed with abundance and success in all your endeavors.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Leah Vaknin and family
