Talks between the US and Israel on a possible US aid package for Israel have been pushed off until next week. They were scheduled to take place in Washington this coming Thursday, but "technical reasons" caused their rescheduling for Thursday, Feb. 20. Israel has requested $4 billion in emergency defense aid and another $8 billion in loan guarantees.
